Returning To Work After Lockdown

As we start to return to work after the Easter half term break and some of us return to the office, we are making plans again.

The future looks promising, the success of the vaccine rollout has helped restore hope that we’ll soon be able to do more of what we enjoy.

But, there are many people who have concerns and worries about returning to the work place. Everyone’s situation is different, bereaved, overwhelmed or ill, COVID has affected us all in different ways.

As an employer and contractor we are aware of the concerns and stresses that have presented themselves, a range of new measures have been put in place to try to help relieve that anxiety and stresses for our teams, customers, and suppliers.

According Coronavirus and the social impacts on Great Britain – Office for National Statistics (ons.gov.uk) last week: “The proportion of adults who were worried (very or somewhat) about the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on their life right now also fell to 66% this week compared with 71% last week”.

This month it’s #StressAwarenessmonth and we’re trying to do all we can to reassure and communicate to our teams, customers and suppliers what we are doing to keep them safe, to try to help relieve some of the stresses people are feeling.
