Bringing you reassurance
and peace of mind.
Let our vast experience, quality professional workmanship, range of specialist skills and satisfaction guarantee give you peace of mind.
Having problems in your home can be both extremely annoying and worrying. And we acknowledge that with reputations of unreliability in the industry, it can sometimes feel a bit daunting when contractors are coming into your home to carry out repair works.
Rest assured we will take the problem away.
We know the most important thing to a homeowner is your home, so Walker Group is committed to building a professional but friendly and reliable relationship with you from the onset.
Our experience has shown that communication is crucial. That’s why we want you to express your concerns to us. We will then explain clearly how we will sort out the problems in your home, giving you complete reassurance and understanding of the work we will be doing for you.
With many years’ experience in the construction industry and investment in new technologies, Walker Group will focus on sorting out the cause of the problem so that it doesn’t happen again.
Being a family-owned company, we take pride in our growing and highly skilled workforce being trustworthy, polite, caring and committed to carrying out the best quality workmanship for you.
And, although we cover a wide range of trades, there may be times when we need to use outside contractors. These hand-picked Walker Group-approved tradespeople will always be under our supervision.
Above all, our aim is to protect your property from damage, and keep you and your neighbours up-to-date on progress.

Water coming into the home (Water Ingress)
With the British weather being what it is, water ingress is one of the main remedial projects we undertake. Wet patches showing on your ceilings and walls can ruin the decoration of your home, and this can be even more upsetting if you have just purchased a new property.
Some causes are:
- Damage to the cavity tray – a waterproof membrane within the brickwork above openings. Our highly trained and experienced teams will remove the bricked area and replace the damaged membrane, repairing the problem at its source.
- Defects in the roofing materials – our skilled roofers will identify the cause of the problem and repair it at source.
- Badly fitted or damaged lead which is supposed to stop rainwater coming in between roof junctions – our teams will remove the surrounding roof area and fit new lead.
Once dampened areas have dried, we make good the internal area.
Underpinning is required when the structure of a property moves (also known as subsidence) and the foundations need to be repaired. Our team will excavate the soil beneath the existing foundation and replace it with new materials. In most cases, you will need to move out of the property while the work is carried out. But we will, of course, discuss timings with you so there’s no rush.
