Team Take Over:

Labourer Elliot

Elliot is one of our multi-skilled Labourers who has been with us for over a year now, on tools learning with experienced tradesman and site manager Josh.

Elliot is keen to learn and develop his skills whilst gaining onsite experience.

A word from Elliot:

“I am here to learn and improve; I learn from Josh. This is the best way for me to learn; watching and doing.”

A word from Dan:

 “The business is moving in the right direction and I want for nothing if I need help or machinery Chris sorts it.”

Company Secretary Linda

Linda Walker started the business with David Walker, then a director of Walker Builders and now company secretary of Walker Group. Things have come a long way since Linda’s chief labourer days 😉.

Together with David, Linda helped shape the future for the family business, investing in and developing the team. Sharing her knowledge and experience, helping to develop the strong accounts team we have today.

A word from Linda:

“Since taking over from his dad Chris has kept the core values he learnt from David and he has taken the business to a whole new level whilst keeping customer satisfaction.”

“Chris is doing well and does a good job keeping customers happy, customer care is what we do well, & is still at the forefront of the business.”

Contracts Manager Ashley 

From Apprentice Joiner to Contracts Manager, Ashley’s been with Walker Group over 8 years. In that time his specialist technical knowledge, keen eye for detail and skills have developed.

Hands-on, a real grafter and keen to learn from day one.

Ashley’s now responsible for supervising quality workmanship to ensure Walker Group’s high standards are maintained having gained the necessary certifications and qualifications whilst on site learning with Chris Walker.

Ashley runs larger national and local projects, for clients whilst managing Walker Estates and The Facade, our New Office Development project,
