Having problems in your home can cause frustration and worry for homeowners. As well as the added pressure of contractors coming into your home, it can be a very stressful time.

We recognised the added stress and anxiety COVID put on homeowners, we quickly put processes into actions to reassure our customers that their safety is paramount to Walker Group.

Be reassured even with the easing of restrictions, nothing has changed in our project approach, we continue to work safely to guidelines.  

Our processes and procedures are in place to ensure we work as safely as we can to carry out necessary works indoors for homeowners:

• We will call prior to arrival to ensure everyone in the house is symptom free, in good health and happy for our contractors to enter your home.

• Preferably you can leave your home when we arrive, but we appreciate with restrictions in place this may not be possible. Therefore, you must not enter the room where our contractors are working.

• All windows should be opened prior to our arrival and whilst we are working.

• For indoor / smaller projects Walker Vans are fitted with welfare facilities and hygiene stations thus ensuring good hand washing routines can be maintained. (On larger sites and projects we provide mobile hygiene units and Portaloos).

Walker Group will keep all customers informed of any changes that may affect the work we do for you.
