Our sites are in safe hands, we know this because we invest in our team, from apprentices to experienced members of our group, we provide them with the tools & skills they need to get the job done to Walker Group’s high standard.

Many of our teams have worked with us for over 5 years, rising through the ranks, crafting their trade, getting professional qualifications & onsite experience whilst learning from other skilled tradesmen. Tradesmen who have many years of hard work & abilities under their belt, now sharing their knowledge & skills with the next generation of our team.

After gaining years of onsite experience developing their skills, getting the necessary qualifications, some of the team have become trusted site agents. Our proactive site agents oversee other team members, ensuring our high standards & service levels are maintained, whilst running projects on time & to budget.

Ashley’s a great example, after advancing to level 3 joinery apprentice with Walker Builders over 8 years ago, his skills have developed as the company has grown. Hands-on from day one, learning general building skills on-site from Chris Walker (MD) & achieving CSCS Gold, SSSTS & SMSTS cards.
