Walker Group were contacted by our client after a report from their customer of damp patches appearing in their home.

When investigations were carried out, they showed water was travelling through the cavity wall insulation and that there was an issue with the materials used, causing damage to the home.

To rectify the issue our specialist team were instructed to remove the stonework on the gable end, replace the cavity wall insulation and rebuild. This involved storing each piece of stone in the correct order to ensure a seamless finish to the rebuild.

As with many of our projects in the winter months the decision was made to wrap the scaffold, hence giving protection to the house, and enabling us to carry on working despite the snow & the rain.

After two and a half weeks, this project is now complete.
